Mori Onna was born from a moment of stillness, that quiet space where water meets breath and the soul remembers who she is.
In this piece, a woman rises from deep, tranquil waters, her face sculpted by hand, her form wrapped in lifelike greenery and soft moss. She is part forest, part water, part spirit.
She represents the woman who grows through everything she survives… the woman who carries her own ecosystem on her back, strength, tenderness, roots, and rebirth.
Her presence whispers, “I am nature. I am my own sanctuary.”
When I created Mori Onna, I poured in the feeling of returning to myself... that peace I find near the water, that reminder that my softness and my strength can exist in the same breath.
She is a tribute to the feminine spirit that blooms even after storms. And like every woman, she is both the quiet and the wild.
